Obituary of Helen V. Skibinski

On August 28, 2020 at age 100. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Elvin A. "Skibby" Skibinski and dear brother, Bernard "Sonny" Fisher.

Survived by her daughter, Joyce (Raymond) Smith; son, Elvin E. Skibinski; two granddaughters, Michelle Smith and Claire Smith; loving family members from the Nawrocki, Despard (Talbot) and Bilohlavek families and many dear friends.

Helen was so devoted to her family & friends and had such a bright personality. She and her husband loved traveling and enjoyed being involved in the Empire State Gladiolus Society. Helen was a former Kodak employee, Red Cross Nurse’s Aide at Strong Hospital, great homemaker and grandmother.

Helen’s family would like to thank Lifetime Care Hospice for any visitations and extra care received.

A celebration of Helen's life will be held privately at the Rush United Methodist Church, due to attendance restrictions in place during COVID-19.

Rush United will be live streaming the service via their youtube chanel.
