Obituary of Anthony T. Pennella

Anthony T. Pennella "Tony" Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2011 after a full and healthy life of 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Lucy J. Pennella; his brothers, Joseph and Alex Pennella; sisters, Francesca, Philomena and Minnella Pennella. He is survived by his brother, Michael Pennella; children, Ann (David Esposito) , Janet (Maurice) Vaughan, Thomas (Katherine Anhalt), Annette (Rafael) Pennella-Martinez, Rita (Brian) O’Hare; grandchildren, Kelly, Matthew, Stephen & Katie Vaughan, Carson Pennella, Daniel, Shannon, Sean, Peter, Michael, Timothy & Connor O’Hare; great grandson, Julian Booth; sister-in-law, Fannie (Sam) DeCaro; cousin, Joseph (Gina) Caprarella; many nieces and nephews. Tony was known for his selfless dedication to family, his generous spirit and steadfast caring presence. He was a Navy WWII veteran and a member of St. Monica Parish for 64 years. Family and friends are invited to call on SUNDAY, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Miller Funeral Homes (3325 Winton Road So.)
