Obituary of Alfred J. Valvano

On September 22, 2011 at age 80. Predeceased by his parents, James & Frances Valvano; siblings, Anthony, Paul, Angelo, John, Joseph, Mary & Lucy Valvano. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Anna & Laura Valvano; nieces & nephews, Paul (Patricia), Sharon, John (Pamela), James, Sally, Bonnie, Joan (Richard) & Joyce; several great nieces and nephews and special friends, Robert (Charlotte) Baker. The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff of 1 Hastings at St. John's Home & Hospice for their loving care. Alfred was a devoted educator for 27 years with the Rochester City School District. He completed his career as an Administrative Director. He was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle & friend. He will never be forgotten and will live in our hearts forever. Alfred's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10 AM at St. Anne Church (1600 Mt. Hope Avenue Click Here For Map).
