Obituary of Alice Lilly Knerr

Alice Lilly Knerr (Derrer) On December, 30, 2011 at age 88, Lilly went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Lilly was born in Switzerland and came to Buffalo, NY in 1950. She became a U.S. Citizen and was an R.N. at Children’s Hospital in Buffalo for over 30 years. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl, in 1999. Surviving are her son, Paul (Donna) of Perinton and her daughter, Heidi (Bob) Freeman of West Monroe; grandchildren, Stephen, Christopher, Betsy, David, Carolyn, Grace & Carl Knerr all of Perinton, and Joshua Freeman of Liverpool, Emily (Nicholas) Irvine of Cazenovia, and Luke and Christina Freeman of West Monroe. Lilly is also survived by her brother, Hugo Derrer, and several nephews and nieces, all of Switzerland. A celebration of Lilly’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, 8445 Greiner Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221.
