Dad, who am I going to call every day? Many times we did not have a lot to talk about, but we kept going. HA. It was my habit to call you every evening. I will GREATLY miss that. I told Jeanne that I will now have to call her. She told me not to bother. HA.
On a serious note, I thought you were the greatest dad and just now realize all you have done for others. Fr. Brickler and Greg covered all your many accomplishments. You deserve a high place in Heaven. I love you very much. Tell Mom I love her too. Ned

Greg- I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. He must have been a remarkable man to have raised, along with your mom, such a wonderful family. I can see where you got your love of young people, gardening, and your great disposition. What a testament to all he worked for and believed in! Our deepest sympathies to you, Karen, and your family.

I had good fortune to work with Ed for many years at Langie/Mobil.
He was so proud of his family, his garden and his book collection.
I fondly remember his sense of humor - dry at times - but always full of wit.
How blessed you've been to have him for your father.
My sympathy of your loss.

I was very saddened to learn of Ed's passing today. He was my first coach in Southside Little League almost 60 years ago, and I remember it well on the old field on S. Clinton. And late at the field by the Lily Pond. And playing with Ned and Gary. Such a long time ago.
Please accept my condolences on your loss. What a wonderful man he was.
