Many happy memories from the mid sixties to the mid seventies of Dwight at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and around Geneva, NY.
He was expert in so many fields including the art of Table Tennis. I never could beat him but the lessons he prevailed upon me served me well. He was a true treasure and I was lucky to know him. Condolences to his family and friends.

Dear Barbara,
I was so sorry to learn of Dwight's passing. He was an incredible human being with an incredible love of life! When I think of him I always remember that beer hall in Munich-what, about 1990?
I toasted him on his birthday and will continue the tradition!
You are in my thoughts,
Fondly,
Wendy King

When they created the commercial, "The Most Interesting Man in the World," they modeled the character after Dwight. To us he was the most interesting man we ever met. We will always cherish the nights we shared with Dwight going up the chair lift at Bristol Mountain. Dwight forced us to learn how to downhill ski and we will always love him for it. More important than skiing was holding meaningful discussions with Dwight who knew so much and knew so many. We enjoyed many wonderful dinners with Dwight and looked forward to his specific food requirements. He was so much fun, just too interesting and such a great mentor. We will miss our friend Dwight.
