Entered into rest Sat. August 25, 2012. Born 9/25/1926 in Brown County Indiana. As a young man he followed his father's skilled trade, working as a brick and stone mason, finding later work in the graphics art industry. He retired from Econo Products here in Rochester at age 62. His keen interest in politics led him to become the Democratic Party Town Leader in Henrietta, NY during the most successful period in its history for 10 years. He was particularly proud of his post retirement accomplishments, as his quest for faith and spirit lead him to become ordained into the Priesthood in the order of Melchizedek, a master of the Rainbow Vision and a Reikii Master in the second degree. He was a provider for his family, a sage counselor and carried his message of hope to his last day. a gentleman of the greatest generation. First he was a wonderful father, grandfather and papa.Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Alice and sons Donald Anthony and Shawn Patrick. He is survived by his children, Stephen C. (Sherry) Dickey, Jacquelyn (Jack Ellenberger) Conner, Mary Catherine (Daniel) Bendel, Lydia (Jim) Malley, Susan (Roger) Cada, Kevin (Nancy) Conner and Harry (Donna Wasley) Conner. The family he chose, Kathy Brege, Steve (Lauren) Woytas, Hank (Colleen) Gaesser, also extended family and friends too numerous to mention. He lived his life as a journey of love and learning.
